Terms of Service

InsideOut (“we”, “us”) is operated by AI Story, Inc., a company incorporated in Delaware, United States. Contact: hello@insideout.guide.

These terms apply to the website insideout.guide and to the personal city guides sold on it. By buying a guide you agree to these terms.

A guide is digital content: a personal selection of places in Amsterdam, composed from our curated base at the moment of purchase, based on the trip length, areas and categories you choose. The exact number of places and the price are shown before you pay.

The composition of your guide is fixed at purchase. Later changes to our base (new places, edits, removals) do not change a guide that has already been sold. If a place from your guide permanently closes in the real world, it stays in your guide marked as closed.

Prices are in euros. The amount you see before paying is the amount you are charged: nothing is added at the last step. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

On your statement the payment appears as AI STORY,* INSIDEOUT (cards) or INSIDEOUT (iDEAL and bank transfers). AI Story, Inc. is the company selling the guide.

The guide is delivered immediately after payment: you get a personal secret link on the confirmation page, and we email the same link to the address you enter. There are no accounts. The link is the only key to your guide:

• Keep the delivery email. If you lose the link, we can resend it only to the email you entered at purchase.
• Anyone who has the link can open the guide. Treat it like a ticket.

By completing the purchase you expressly agree that we deliver the guide immediately, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose the EU statutory right of withdrawal for digital content. Our refund policy below applies instead.

If the guide disappointed you, write to hello@insideout.guide within 14 days of purchase and tell us what didn’t work. We refund the full price to your original payment method. Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically arrive within 5 to 10 business days.

Your guide keeps working while the money is on its way. Once the refund has reached you, the link stops opening: the guide goes back to us together with the money.

Every place in the base is curated editorially: visited by us or vouched for by people we trust. We check the base against public sources every day, so a place that closes gets noticed and marked. Still, cities change faster than any guide:

• Opening hours, prices and menus are the venues’ own decisions and change without notice. Check before a special trip.
• Descriptions reflect our editorial view and the facts available at the time of writing. We correct mistakes when we learn of them, but we do not guarantee completeness or current accuracy.
• We are not affiliated with the venues and are not responsible for your experience at them.

You can add your own places and personal notes to your guide.

• Your notes are private: they are visible only in your guide.
• By adding a place you allow us to review it and, if it fits, include the place in our public base, where it may appear in other people’s guides. We take the name, the address and public facts about it,never your note.
• Don’t submit unlawful content or content you have no right to share. We may remove submissions at our discretion.

The guide is for your personal use, and sharing your link with your travel companions is fine. You may not copy, scrape, resell or republish the guide’s content or our base. All content on insideout.guide, including texts and the selection itself, belongs to us or our licensors.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Beyond that, our total liability related to a guide is limited to the price you paid for it. We provide the service “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website.

We may update these terms; the version published at the moment of your purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. If the law of your country gives you consumer rights that these terms do not cover, you keep them.
